Is LifeLock Valid
With so many mixed signals going out into the media, many are now wondering the same thing: Is LifeLock valid? How many different identity theft protection services are there? Will LifeLock really be able to help?
When looking into whether or not a product like LifeLock is valid, consider some of the partnerships that the company you are looking into has. That can help answer such a question.
It has just been reported in the news that an independent insurance brokerage firm in Illinois has partnered with LifeLock to offer the leading identity theft protection in the industry. “Adding identity theft protection to our growing list of products will help protect our clients from financial setbacks,” said Ryan Kennelly, Co-Founder of Illinois Health Agents.
In addition to offering individual identity theft protection, LifeLock offers solutions for businesses as well. They also offer protection for everyone from adults to children and with recent reports of child identity theft on the rise, this protection is most valuable to concerned parents. This will help the firm to protect their clients from the “epidemic” of identity theft.
Services that LifeLock offers include: WalletLock, eRecon and TrueAddress. WalletLock will cancel and replace personal documents from a lost or stolen wallet. eRecon scours the internet for a members’ social security number, credit card number, driver license or email address to protect them from having personal information traded or sold online. TrueAddress searches for filings of a members’ change of address and alerts the member to be sure they are made aware of the change. LifeLock also offers a $1 million service guarantee to back their services. If you become a victim of identity theft while a member of LifeLock because of a failure in their service, they will help you fix it, up to $1 million (Restrictions apply. See LifeLock.com for details).
The U.S. Department of Justice has reported that identity theft is the #1 crime in the United States. Since they were founded in 2005, LifeLock has been doing their part in helping to protect their members from this crime. Join them today, use code Defense to receive a discount.
Many have tried to discredit the services that LifeLock provides and yet identity theft figures continue to rise. Obviously, this is a service that everyone needs to have as it would take a lot of time and organization to keep on top of providing such services on your own. Give LifeLock the opportunity to protect your good name.

Identity theft is huge and more people need to realize that they have to watch their credit.

I used to think that LifeLock was just a waste of money, but now that I pay more attention to the news and how huge identity theft is, I might join.

Can someone comment on how they like being a Lifelock member?

I looked at the LifeLock website (www.lifelock.com) and joined in December and my credit file was fine when I joined. I just thought it would be good protection to have and I’m glad I have it. I used the discount code on this website and they gave me the discount too.

Other services are valid too. Lifelock gets a lot of media attention, but it’s just important to be protected.

I saw a story on our local news about a woman who got caught using other people’s identity to buy things for herself. This is real.

People are all over the internet talking about LifeLock. I don’t think that it’s that big a deal, you either want it or you don’t. But if you don’t get it, be sure not to ignore that you need to do what you can to protect your social security number.
