A recent Businesswire.com press release has been issued to release the details of the upcoming LifeLock and FBI-LEEDA Summit in Naples and Orlando, FL. Identity theft complaints have hit a 5 year high, according to Javelin Strategy & Research. With Florida having an above average rate of these incidents, LifeLock and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association will partner together to sponsor Identity Theft Summits in Florida in November 2009.

This is one of many free, nationwide training sessions. The sessions will be lead by a FL police veteran who will share investigation techniques and latest crime trends.  This summit for law enforcement officers, will help them to become more familiar with their local identity theft laws and how they can help those who become a victim of identity theft.
