All cities need to have a plan in place to help their citizens fight identity theft. They need to take complaints seriously and prosecute those who steal our information.

I would like to know where these stats were located. I have been all over the FTC’s website and haven’t been able to locate the data you have published.

I got this service a while back and paid more but it’s worth having. I was alerted when I opened a credit account and that made me feel safer.

I don’t think enough people realize that identity theft is a huge crime. They won’t know until they are affected. The only people who are aware of the problem are the people who were affected or those who take the time to research it on the internet.

Someone stole my wallet and got my credit cards. I was able to cancel them before they did too much damage, but these guys waist no time in using your hard earned money and credit once they get a hold of a stolen wallet! Watch your credit card statements and bank accounts all the time. If you don’t have online banking, get it! Or, be sure you regularly check your balance by phone.

I didn’t see this when it came on, but I love The Apprentice. I see LifeLock commercials all the time and it is really getting publicity. They are everywhere!

People are all over the internet talking about LifeLock. I don’t think that it’s that big a deal, you either want it or you don’t. But if you don’t get it, be sure not to ignore that you need to do what you can to protect your social security number.
