There are several ways to go about protecting yourself from the crime of identity theft, however, if you feel that you might become a victim of identity theft because of that scary letter that comes in the mail once a data breach has occurred, isn’t it good to know that this company exists to help?

The latest press release by the company quotes Chairman & CEO, Todd Davis as follows: “LifeLock is pleased with this agreement, which, for the very first time, works to set advertising guidelines for the entire industry. We welcome federal and state efforts to regulate our industry, because doing so helps to protect consumers from the risks of identity theft.” One of the most important goals of the company is alerting and educating consumers of the risks of identity theft, and more Americans are aware of these risks thanks to their efforts.
