Florida Law Enforcement Identity Theft Summits
A recent Businesswire.com press release has been issued to release the details of the upcoming LifeLock and FBI-LEEDA Summit in Naples and Orlando, FL. Identity theft complaints have hit a 5 year high, according to Javelin Strategy & Research. With Florida having an above average rate of these incidents, LifeLock and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association will partner together to sponsor Identity Theft Summits in Florida in November 2009.

LifeLock Partners With National Crime Prevention Council
A recent press release has gone out to announce the partnership between LifeLock and the National Crime Prevention Council. This organization, also known as NCPC, is known for helping communities and citizens stay safe from crime.

Hotmail Account Security Breach Notice
PC World has recently reported that over 10,000 Hotmail account usernames and passwords were posted online by hackers who wanted to show that they could gain access to sensitive information. The accounts posted included those that started with ‘A’ and ‘B’ in alphabetical order. The total number of accounts hacked could be upwords of 100,000 that were not posted, but are compromised.
